What My Valentine’s Mini Photoshoot Includes
My Valentine’s Mini sessions will take place on Sunday 30th January 2022 at my cosy photography studio in Fleet, Hampshire.
Photos will be taken in front of a simple white backdrop adorned with beautiful red and pink paper garland hearts and red heart helium balloons. This is a fun playful photoshoot designed to keep the kids smiling and is perfect to capture their cuteness!
Each portrait session will be 15 minutes long. After the photoshoot you’ll receive access to a private online gallery where you can select the portrait you want for your 1 x digital edited image. If you simply can’t decide, there will be the opportunity to buy additional images should you wish to. Once you’ve selected your photo, the edited image will be sent to you no later than one week after the shoot - giving you plenty of time to create cards from the image or get it framed in time for the big day!
This is a wonderful (cost effective) way to update you family photos especially if you missed the chance to do so at Christmas. You can have up to three siblings in the photo but do drop me an email if you have a bigger brood. Babies should be able to sit unsupported or will need to be held by a parent or older sibling.
What Should the Kids Wear for the Photo Shoot?
Like any photo shoot, preparation is key, but it really doesn’t have to be complicated. The backdrop and accessories for the Valentine’s mini sessions are white, red, and pink. Aiming to keeping within that colour scheme is a great idea so popping your little ones in red or pink tops, t-shirts or shirts would work well – just remember to avoid any logos or character designs that are distracting and can date your images.
Denim would work amazingly to contrast the colours as will fabric with gorgeous textures – think chunky knits or lace that really pop on camera. If you’ve got smaller babies, bare little bottoms are always a winner and would be totally aww-inducing! I’m always happy to help with outfit choices so if you’re not sure, just drop me an email or give me a call.
