Adorable Daddy & Me mini sessions – the cutest gift this Father’s Day

Daddy, Dada, Papa, Father or Daaaaaaaaad!

Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads out there!

June is around the corner and Father’s Day is approaching. If you’re looking for unique gift ideas, relax - you need look no more! What could be better than some gorgeous shots of dad with his children?

Stupendous step-dads, fantastic father-in-laws, groovy grandads or even your brother who has just become a new dad; a Father’s Day photo shoot really is the genius gift for the guy who has everything.

This year why not make Father’s Day extra special with one of my ‘Daddy & Me’ mini photo sessions and capture the special relationship your husband or partner has with your little (or big) one(s).

These adorable ‘Daddy & Me’ sessions are dad approved and are a sure fire gift he’ll cherish forever.

Dads, as we all know, can be notoriously difficult to buy for. However if the past year has taught us anything, it’s that our relationships are the most important things we need to value and cherish. Let’s celebrate dads with their tongue-in-cheek humour, their spider-catching, hand- holding and monster-scaring. Let's capture that special bond that dads share with their kids.

You may be thinking that your brilliant bloke might be a (tiny) bit camera shy. Whilst for some it’s true, dads do have a reputation for loathing the photography experience - but fear not! These Father’s Day mini sessions are perfect for every type of dad! I promise!!

My Daddy & Me sessions take a relaxed storytelling approach. Forget about feeling stiff in front of the camera these sessions are wild, free and FUN. Focusing on shared activities NOT poses, we get dads doing what they do best – being themselves with the ones they love.

Each parent’s bond is different and my job is to capture that. Some dads revel in silliness, others specific games or activities that they simply love doing together from tea parties to tickles. I can capture it all to ensure those memories are preserved forever. For dads that love reading to their kids we can do snuggle and books shots. If your little one is a real ‘mini me’ it can be fun to get matching outfits – it’s the type of photography to make every mummy swoon!

Dads & daughters, dads and sons, or go the full caboodle and include everyone by remaking old family photos with a generational shot! Maybe you’ll want to make it a family tradition or an annual event to see how your little one changes each year (and how the dads change

too) it can be a simple pose with simple outfits that you can repeat year after year, for years to come. A fantastic heirloom and photos the kids will love to look back on when they’re older.

Let's get dads in the frame this Father’s Day with photos that are sure to melt his heart and yours too.

My Daddy & Me sessions are on the 27th June at my studio in Fleet. I provide a beautiful gift voucher to present to the lucky dad on Father’s Day. Prior to your shoot I’ll be in touch to have a chat about your specific session and answer any questions you may have. We can discuss ideas and ‘props’ to bring to make your session relaxed and natural to you and your family. Your images will be ready to view in my online gallery about 2 weeks after the session. You can select 4 to receive as digital files but of course, if you simply can’t choose, you can purchase more as extras!

Let’s celebrate this Father’s Day – My Daddy & Me mini sessions are perfect for every type of dad or father. So ditch the alcohol and aftershave and shun those socks – let's capture those tickles and giggles and celebrate ‘Dad’ and all he does!
